01 Scope

ShieldCore Security is a United States-based provider and is subject to US export control and sanctions laws, including regulations administered by the US Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security and the US Department of the Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control, as well as applicable laws of other jurisdictions in which we operate. These terms supplement our Terms and Conditions.

02 Restricted Jurisdictions

Services, digital products, lab environments and training may not be available in, and may not be exported, re-exported or otherwise made available to, countries, regions or territories subject to comprehensive international sanctions or embargoes. Availability may change as sanctions programmes are updated, without prior notice.

03 Customer Representations

By purchasing or using our services, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or organised under the laws of a restricted jurisdiction, and will not access the services from one.
  • You, your organisation, your beneficial owners and your end users are not named on any prohibited, denied, debarred or sanctions list, and are not owned or controlled by any such party.
  • You will not use, transfer or re-export the services, deliverables, tooling or training for any prohibited end use, including weapons of mass destruction, unlawful surveillance or unauthorised offensive operations.
  • You will not provide access to the services to any party in breach of these terms.

04 Screening & Refusal of Service

ShieldCore Security may conduct sanctions, denied-party and jurisdictional screening before and during an engagement, and may request additional identity, ownership or end-use information. We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, restrict or terminate service — without liability — where required or prudent under applicable export control, sanctions or trade laws.

05 Controlled Technology & Tooling

Certain intrusion software, exploitation tooling, detection signatures and technical training content may be controlled technology. Such items are provided only where properly licensed or exempt, and may not be redistributed, reverse engineered for transfer, or shared with restricted parties. Deliverables containing sensitive technical detail must be protected against onward disclosure.

06 Local Cybersecurity Laws

Customers must comply with all cybersecurity, computer-misuse, telecommunications, data protection and licensing laws applicable in their jurisdiction. In some countries, security testing, vulnerability research or the use of specific tooling requires registration, licensing or prior authorisation. Obtaining and maintaining such authorisations is the customer's responsibility, and testing will not proceed without documented lawful authorisation.

07 Consequences of Non-Compliance

Breach of these terms is a material breach of our agreement and may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund, forfeiture of access to deliverables and training materials, and reporting to competent authorities where legally required. You agree to indemnify ShieldCore Security against losses arising from your breach of applicable export control or sanctions laws.
